Production of the CoViVentil ventilator controller
Sims Electronics Plant manufactures dedicated printed circuit boards for CoViVentil ventilators. The journey to the CoViVentil Ventilator at the Jan and Jędrzej Śniadecki University of Technology in Bydgoszcz began on 4 April 2020 on the initiative of Prof Tomasz Topoliński, the originator and creator of the biomedical engineering course at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

The idea of building a ventilator at the university to save the lives of patients was met with great interest by university staff, representatives of the Bydgoszcz-based company CIMAT, the MEDSEVEN company and doctors from the 10th Military Clinical Hospital with Polyclinic in Bydgoszcz.
