TD Directional Signs

Our LCD panels are more than just displays; they’re also intelligent information centers. Thanks to their high resolution and excellent image stability, every traveler can instantly check key travel information. The system actively supports passengers by providing real-time information about entry into the ticketing zone and available transfers.

Specification

They are used to inform passengers at stops or platforms of the line number and the name of the destination or station to which the vehicle is traveling. They are based on high-brightness LEDs with a wide viewing angle. The use of such LEDs in TD signs allows for excellent visibility of the displayed content. Depending on the user’s needs, the signs can display text in various font sizes on one or two lines. Furthermore, it is possible to present different content on multiple signs simultaneously. Communication between the directional sign and the control device takes place via an RS485 bus, Ethernet, or another transmission system selected by the customer.

TD directional signs feature automatic regulation of the LED light intensity to automatically adjust the display brightness to the ambient light conditions (day/night). Fluctuations in the display’s brightness have been eliminated thanks to a hysteresis system that causes the brightness to change only a few seconds after a change in ambient conditions. This solution prevents the display from flashing when illuminated by an oncoming car at night.

The display can operate in a wide temperature range: from -20°C to +70°C.
