The eS-NVR 4000 digital recorder is the latest central unit of SiMS’s video surveillance system. The device records audio and video streams from cameras located in the vehicle. The video surveillance system captures images both inside and outside the vehicle. Camera images, audio streams, and metadata are stored on the recorder’s hard drives in a dedicated bay that holds up to six drives. Footage can be viewed in real time in the vehicle or played back from the recorder in the dispatch center.
